If you had a PAID IN FULL entry to any of the 4 classes (4 YO, 5 YO, Juvenile, Derby) at the
2025 BFA WC 40th Year World Championships and enter the 2026 BFA World Championships (must not have aged out) , your horse is AUTOMATICALLY entered into this ONE COMBINED CLASS, $25,000 Guaranteed, 2D, 1 Second Split, Progressive Payout Side-pot.
– this includes horses paid in full but were unable to check in at the event in 2025.
Horses that are aged eligible to run in 2026 are eligible to compete in this side-pot.
How does this work?
The best time of your two Long Round go’s in 2026 will be carried over to the BFA 40th TAKE TWO side-pot.
One Payout, 12 places in each D.
Regardless of the class you are entered in for 2026 (if the horse was entered paid in full for 2025), your best time of the 2 long go’s , will be carried to the BFA 40th TAKE TWO Sidepot.
We know how much preparation, planning, and dedication goes into preparing for the BFA World Championships. When the 2025 event was forced to conclude early due to the EHV-1 outbreak, it was disappointing for everyone—especially those who had worked all year for the chance to make their runs.
We wanted our 40th Anniversary to be the best! So we have decided to have a “TAKE TWO’ and offer a chance for all horses that were paid in full a shot a MORE MONEY!
As a thank-you to our members, there will be no entry fee for the side pot—giving those horses another chance to step in the pen and compete for the cash!
This is our way of recognizing the effort you put in and giving you the run you deserved. We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back and making this one count!
